our story
Apex Excavation got its start late in the 2023 dirt season, and the first job came from a Facebook post, someone who needed a project done and took a chance on a new company. The relationship did not end when the work did. We still take care of that client’s property through the winters.
The early seasons were a mix of ups and downs, filled with work for contractor friends and small residential jobs that helped build a reputation one project at a time. Word of mouth started to carry more weight than advertising ever could, largely because of something simple: we call people back. We have had more than one client tell us how much it meant that we followed up when we said we would, in an industry where that is not always the norm.
Since then, the business has grown from a one-person operation into a small team, taking on more residential work along with a couple of trusted general contractors and a home building company. We are still hands-on with every project, but we are building toward a future with more equipment, a larger team, and a home base of our own.

Our founder has been in landscaping and excavation since the age of 18, and that firsthand experience is behind every quote and every project plan. As the business has grown, we have brought on additional team members, with a focus on developing people who want to grow into skilled operators and future team leaders, not just fill a seat.
